Fall is here..

Well it's that time of year again..The leaves have fallen,the nights are getting colder..and Shirley and I have started curling. All pretty good signs that winter is around the corner. We have been out to the cottage off and on the last couple weekends to get the place ready for winter, and bring back all the things that can't stay there cause it's too cold! Only thing I forgot to bring back is my golf clubs, in case Jas and I wanna do some indoor golfing this winter! Guess we will have to make another run out for the day. On one hand it's kind of sad to be closing the place up for the winter, but on the other hand this was our first full season out there since we bought it last summer at the end of July, so we have spent a ton of time there.. we have had our fill, and will be ready and raring to go again in the spring. Once it's nice enough in the spring we have to Thompson water seal our new deck on the front, and our new privacy wall around the bathroom, as they are pressure treated wood. We also would like to paint the kitchen in the cottage, and the dresser in our bedroom.. so we have plans already! Our cats are sure growin fast too! They go in for their operations in two weeks..Emily has been in heat twice already, so the operations can't come soon enough!
